Tommy is like the popular kid on the playground everybody wants to be friends with. Doc, also for adoption, followed him around everywhere when they were in the same foster home. Dobby, a puppy recently adopted, would follow him around too. They were like Spike and Chester from the old Looney Tunes cartoons! Tommy gets along great with all the dogs in his foster home, male and female, large and small.

Tommy also adores people and makes an excellent dance partner. Treeing Walkers love to stand on you and give hugs, but he has learned that isn't allowed. Smart as he is, he found a workaround and stands on the porch rail to lean in for loving from his foster mom! He loves to fetch tennis balls, and brings it back everytime. If you've never loved a hound dog, you don't know what you're missing! They are very loving and make wonderful family pets.

We recently discovered that Tommy does just fine with indoor cats. He will chase outdoor cats who run. That's pretty typical for dogs, so with supervision he will be fine for a home with cats.

Tommy is a big marshmallow and just as sweet.

All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
