Breland is a 7-8 y/o GSD mix neutered male that is ready for his final forever home! This boy has been through so much and is such a trooper. He was found in a locked cemetery in Winnsboro, SC with a shattered front leg, very underweight and a nasty yeast infection. The vets thought the leg would probably have to be amputated. Luckily for this boy the bone started fusing on its own and the leg was saved. He will always have a limp but hes able to walk on his leg and actually has started running around playing with the other dogs in his foster home. Breland has gained the much needed weight and his hair has grown back. He acts like a totally different dog. His tail has wagged from day one but he always has a grin on his face now too =) Hes a happy boy who loves to receive belly rubs and loves to eat! If you have room in your heart for a mature buddy, Breland might be the one for you.
"Old dogs, like old shoes, are comfortable. They might be a bit out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well." - Bonnie Wilcox 'Old Dogs, Old Friends'
All dogs receive a distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE.
