Description:
Sampson is 2.5 years old. He is a sweet and beautiful Black Lab mix. He is about 55 lbs. and very well behaved.

He is up to date on shots, neutered, dewormed, and on monthly heartworm prevention. Sampson will be treated for heartworms in the Fall, 2007 (cooler months are better for treatment). He has a very low worm burden and will be kept on prevention to keep it that way.

Sampson is shy at first, but warms up after he gets to know you. He does live with several cats and dogs, but would do best as an only pet. He will chase cats when they are outdoors. He gets along with other dogs, but does get jealous for attention at times.

Sampson is crate trained, housetrained, and leash trained. He will make an excellent pet for the right home. He dreams of finding his forever family soon.

All CARE dogs receive an exam, distemper/parvo vaccine, kennel cough vaccine, rabies vaccine, heartworm test, dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, and are spayed/neutered.

*****CARE does not have a physical shelter. We foster these animals in our private homes. We are usually unable to return calls during the week due to our full schedules with work, family and the animals we care for.
