Leo is a pretty chill boy who was found outside, fending for himself. Thankfully, he survived, was rescued, then brought into our program. Leo's eyes were draining and crusted over. They look amazing now! We've had him treated for his eyes, but they are a chronic issue and simply need to be cleaned/rinsed when he has a flare up.

Leo is neutered, dewormed, treated for external parasites, eating quality hay, veggies and pellets great... he just needs that special forever family who's deserving of him!

Adoption Fee: $80.00

All rabbits receive an exam, dewormer, topical treatment for possible fleas, mites & heartworms, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE. Each rabbit is fed high quality grass hays, fresh vegetables, some high quality pellets, and some fruits. NO vaccines are given at this time as it is not approved in the US. This day will come, so keep current with a quality rabbit vet and rabbit.org. UPDATE: All current CARE rabbits are on the list for the vaccine, once approved for SC.

All of these expenses, often over months, cost a lot more than the adoption fee. Many vets charge $120 to $700 for rabbit neuters/spays alone. We are nonprofit and have to make up some of the costs through adoption fees in addition to accepting donations and fundraising.

Breeds are always our "best guess" based on experience, weight, vet sugestions, and other factors.
