Stairway To Heaven by Jim Warren
by Paul C. Dahm

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water, and sunshine and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy  and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; his eager body begins to quiver.

Suddenly, he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend  finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together...

Cullen "a.k.a. Smiley Dog"
Cullen is who this organization is named after. He was my son for 9 wonderful years. We went through rough times and great times, but we had each other through them all. He was murdered 7/24/01 during a robbery. He is greatly missed each and every day of my life. ~Tara

Sidney
Sidney,

Words cannot explain how much I miss you. I'm sorry I couldn't do more to help you stay with me. I hope you've found Rusty, Freckles and Lacey... they will keep you company until Shadow, Shelby, Macon, Shawna and I get there. Mommy loves you!

Haley
Haley Bell - you'll always be my little Bobble D. I love you and miss you so much. I hope there's a trampoline for you to play on while you wait for me. I'll miss you and love you always ~ Breeda

Jazz
Jazz was a part of our lives for more than a decade. We thought she would be with us for much longer. She was the mama bear in our household. It's not the same without her there to keep order.

We miss you, Chocolate Monster. ~Kelly

Holiday
Holiday left this world too soon at only 6 years old.
She was my canine soul mate. My sweetie peetie head. My brown-eyed girl.
I miss her always. ~Kelly
