Poe & Pumpkin were dumped at a local vet clinic, then taken to an animal shelter, then CARE pulled them in placed them in a foster home. As you can imagine, this was quite stressful on them. Pumpkin & Poe fought due to stress. They are on antibiotics & will be ready for adoption 9/20/14. We believe they would be best kept apart at this time. All Guinea Pigs receive health exams through CARE prior to adoption. We feed high quality pellets, hay and assorted veggies and some fruits. We primarily use hay, aspen bedding or shredded paper (helps reduce allergens for those of us who suffer from allergies). We do not typically neuter Guinea Pigs, per our Vet's advice. We will only neuter ones who come to us already bonded and are of opposite sex.
