Dante was found 12/31/06 on the side of the road digging through garbage with Bacardi, his brother. They were both very underweight and only 11 months old! Poor babies!

Dante is doing great now and has put on weight. He is now 12 months old and weighs about 12 lbs. He has been dewormed, vaccinated and is on monthly heartworm prevention. He will be neutered prior to adoption. He is leash trained, crate trained and almost house trained! He’s a very smart boy!

He is very sweet and has a calm personality. Dante loves attention and cuddling - he is real lap dog! His desire is to be spoiled rotten! Dante is great with dogs, cats, adult humans, and adores kids. He was a bit jealous of some dogs, but he’s learned to share the affection. What a good boy!

Inside only homes need apply. Dante is a small fellow and enjoys being inside where it is warm and safe with his family. He enjoys wearing sweaters and jackets while taking walks, but then he’s ready to head back in!
